Face frame cabinetry is a traditional style that originated in the days when cabinetry was built on-site. The style is characterized by hardwood frames that surround and define each drawer and door in the cabinetry. Doors and drawer fronts and doors are typically recessed when closed so that the face of the cabinetry is one flush plane. Such detail obviated the use of Euro-style hardware for the hinges and drawer glides. However, Swiftsure has developed a design which solves this problem.
